Covington, Aug 7 (1943) – Funeral services for Caleb Valentine Cunningham, 82, pioneer resident of Warren County were held at his home in Covington at 2:30 at his home in Covington at 2:30 Saturday afternoon. The Rev. J. Shields White of the Methodist Church was the officiating minister. Burial was in Mt. Hope Cemetery with Frank Y. Shelby, funeral director in charge. Cunningham, a retired farmer died at his home Thursday afternoon. He had been seriously ill since Saturday. He was born in Warren County, Ind Feb 21, 1861 the son of Cyrus and Mary Oliphant Cunningham. In 1906 he was married to Margaret Rogers who survives. Also surviving are one sister, Mrs. Harriet Lowe of Madison, Wis and several nieces and nephews. – kz
